Hahahah!

I meant to link to www.stfd.net, not .com! This may still be confusing though.

My final list looks like this:

1. Northwestern
2. UCLA
3. UC-San Diego
4. Michigan
5. Minnesota
6. Maryland
7. Brown
8. Ohio State
9. Indiana
10. Washington

Maybe Cornell, too. Also applying to IUPUI masters program if I don't get in to any of these. My top choices are Northwestern, UCLA, and Minnesota... I have them by rank here instead.

First Two Apps Away

I sent in the applications for UCLA and Michigan today. At this point, I really have no ability to assess my chances of getting in to either of them... or anywhere, really. I bounce from being hopeful that I'll get in to a couple of top 20 schools to doubting that I will get in to a the masters program I have chosen as my back-up. Other than that, only one more semester of undergrad... so at least I have that to cheer me up!

Anyways, check out this link, it is great. I first saw it more than a year ago, but I still feel good whenever I look at it:

Christmas

I keep reading/hearing people complain about companies being too politically correct when it comes to Christmas. It is true that you see a lot of avoidance of using the word, but you know, it doesn't bother me at all. As long as it is a market response, there is no injustice here. You may be annoyed, but you can always go to a Christian book-store or something to get very religious Christmas stuff. Or, just call it a Christmas tree, scribble out Happy Seasons on your cards... you know, get creative.

Putnam

I just finished (er... stopped writing down bs) the Putnam. Nothing like an incredibly hard test to make you feel stupid!
